Partnership Accounting Licensing, Installation, and More

Users who have purchased a license for the new Partnership Accounting module have the ability to utilize Partnership Accounting features, functions, and reports.

The Partnership Accounting module allows for you to distribute funds to the partners invested in your projects based on a percentage of ownership. This feature is an add-on module for eFinancials, with data residing in the eFinancials database, not a separate Partnership Accounting database.

Installation and Licensing Requirements

The Partnership Accounting application installs as part of the eFinancials installation process. Please refer to Installation Instructions documents in your installation download package for more information.

Policies and Setup

Global Policies Setup

Global policies and general Partnership Setup is necessary before you can use Partnership Accounting functions.

Global policies provide users with default values. Using Partnership Accounting global policies, you can set up your system for use with Simple Partnerships and also to allow Distribution Expense Override.

Global setup for Partnership Accounting is done on the Partnership Accounting Tab in eFinancials.
